ORDINANCE NO. 20229 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 OF ORDINANCE <br /> NO. 20224 TO PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF AUGUST <br /> 1, 2001~ <br /> <br /> THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1, Section 7 of Ordinance No. 20224 passed by the City Council and approved by <br />the Mayor on February 26, 2001 is amended to provide: <br /> <br /> Section 7, Notwithstanding the effective date of ordinances as provided in the <br /> Eugene Charter of 1976, it is necessary for the orderly implementation of the new provisions <br /> and procedures adopted herein that this Ordinance, except the Sections referenced in Section <br /> 6 above, become effective on August 1, 2001. Sections 9.8700, 9.8705, 9.8710, 9.8715, <br /> 9.8720, and 9.8725 as referenced in Section 6 above shall become effbctive on August 26, <br /> 2001, and Sections 7.595, 7.600, 7.605, and 7.610 of the Eugene Code, 1971 repealed as of <br /> that date. <br /> <br /> Section 2~ The City Recorder, at the request of, or with the concurrence of the Cky Attorney, <br />is authorized to administratively correct an}: reference errors contained herein or in other provis].ons <br />of the Eugene Code, 1971 or Ordinance No. 20224, to the provisions added, amended or repealed <br />herein or in Ordinance No. 20224. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
