(5~ <br /> <br />(c) A Level Three Analysis shall consist of a Level Two Analysis and <br /> additional site-specific geotechnical design of facilities such as, but not <br /> limited to, streets, fo-andations, utilities, retaining walls and structures due <br /> to geologic constraints. <br />Applicability of Different Categories of Geological and Geotechnical <br />Analysis. Unless exempt under 9.6710(3), the category of geotechnical analysis <br />required is based on the following: <br />(a) A Level One Analysis shall be required on: <br /> 1 All development sites with slopes less than 10% that include <br /> construction of public improvements; <br /> 2. Subdivision, site review, and planned unit development applications <br /> for development sites with slopes greater than or equal to 5% and <br /> less than 10%. <br />(b) A Level Two Analysis shall be required on: <br /> 1. All development sites with slopes greater than or equal to 10% that <br /> include construction of public improvements; <br /> 2. Subdivision, site review, and planned unit development applications <br /> for development sites with slopes greater than or equal to 10%. <br />(c) A Level Three Analysis shall be required on development sites where the <br /> Level One or Two Analysis reveals evidence of existing or potential <br /> stability problems or where site conditions such as springs or seeps, depth <br /> of soil to bedrock, variations in soil types, or a combination of these <br /> conditions, in the opinion of the professional, impact the design <br /> parameters of the structure. <br /> <br />Section 25. Subsection (4) of Section 9.6715 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended to <br /> <br />provide: <br /> <br />9~6715 Height Limitation Areas. <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />Gillespie Butte Height L[mitation Area. Gillespie Butte height limitation <br />standards are applicable to all property on Gillespie Butte that is above an <br />elew. tion of 450 fbet as shown on Map 9.6715(4) Gitlespie Butte Height <br />Limitation Area. Within the height lirrfitation area, buildings are limited to a <br />height of 585 feet above mean sea level except as follows: <br />(a) Area A. Within Area A, buildings are limited to a maximum height of no <br /> more than 595 feet above mean sea level. <br />(b) Area B. Within Area B, buildings are limited to a maximum height of no <br /> more than 588 feet above mean sea level. <br />(c) Park-related development on public land within the Gillesp]e Butte Height <br /> Limitation Area is exempt from height limitation requirements. <br />In no case shall the maximum height of any building or structure exceed the <br />maximum allowed in the zone. <br /> <br />Ordinance - 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
