<br />PURPOSE OF STUDY <br />The purpose of this Level I Energy Audit is to evaluate the utility usage and billing, observe how the <br />energy using systems are operated and maintained, and to develop low cost and no cost <br />recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce utility consumption at the Eugene Airport- <br />Administration building. <br /> <br />INVESTIGATIVE WORK <br />RS&H visited the airport on October 18-20, 2016 to conduct a utility survey inspection. The team of RS&H <br />utility survey inspectors included Daniel Pohnert, PE, LEED® AP, CEM and Jamal Belahmira, PE. The RS&H <br />utility survey inspection consisted of: visual observations, maintenance staff interviews and a survey of <br />existing HVAC equipment and lighting systems. <br /> <br />METHODS & OBSERVATIONS <br />A visual inspection of accessible areas of the buildings was conducted. A complete photo survey of <br />existing equipment that was available for inspection is shown in the attached photos. Although all existing <br />HVAC units appeared to be operating during the visit; several are not operating in the manner that they <br />were designed and installed. <br /> <br /> ASHRAE LEVEL 1 ENERGY AUDIT ADMINISTRATION II <br /> <br />
