<br />APPENDIX B: EUGENE AIRPORT UCO <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Lighting UCOs <br />1. Replace HPS fixtures with LED in exterior of building. <br />2. Retrofit existing T8 fixtures with LED volumetric fixture inserts in: <br />a. Offices <br />b. Corridors <br />3. Provide lighting control system to control all lighting. <br />4. De-lamp fixtures in corridors and office spaces <br />5. Replace RF lights in storage areas with LED high bay fixtures. <br /> <br />HVAC UCOs <br />1. <br />2. Replace existing electronic digital thermostats with programmable thermostats. Recommend 7 <br />day programmable type. Recommend setback temperatures of 78 cooling, 65 heating. Occupancy <br />sensors interlocked with the thermostats could provide additional savings. <br />3. Install Building Automation System (BAS). The control system as originally designed is based on <br />Time-clock schedule controls. There are many levels of BAS systems which can more closely <br />monitor actual requirements of the HVAC systems and coordinate these requirements of all of the <br />systems to optimize operation and reduce energy consumption. <br />4. Test and Balance entire HVAC system. <br /> <br />Building Envelope UCOs <br />1. Replace damaged or missing door seals at gate doors. <br /> <br /> <br />Plumbing UCOs <br />1.
