D. Favoure Miller

Mr. Torrey said that Human Rights Commissioner Favore Miller did not reapply for her position on
the commission in a timely manner because of uncertainty about her future personal plans, and
now intended to stay in Eugene and would like to continue on the commission. He said that he
would add Ms. Miller's name to the list of people who were available to serve with the council's
concurrence. That meant the council would select four commissioners from a pool of seven
candidates instead of six. The council indicated its concurrence.

III.
