PUBLIC HEARING AND ACTION: RESOLUTION CONCERNING CITY OF EUGENE <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET #1 <br /> <br />Mr. Wong explained that the proposed Supplemental Budget would transfer funds from the <br />General and Road Capital Projects Fund Balance Available to the main library construction <br />capital project to allow work to begin on the library project before library bonds were sold. <br /> <br />Mayor Torrey opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Mayor Torrey determined there was no one present wishing to testify and closed the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fart moved, seconded by Mr. Tollenaar, to adopt Council Resolution <br /> Number 4569A, a resolution adopting a Supplemental Budget; making <br /> appropriations for the City of Eugene for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, <br /> 1998, and ending June 30, 1999. The motion was adopted unanimously, <br /> 7:0, Mr. Meisner having left the meeting. <br /> <br /> VIII. ACTION: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT OF CERTAIN LIBRARY <br /> EXPENDITURES PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS <br /> <br />Mr. Wong explained that the resolution stated the intention of the council to reimburse the <br />General and Road Capital Project fund for funds expended on the main library construction <br />capital project once library bonds are sold. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fart moved, seconded by Mr. Tollenaar, to adopt Council Resolution <br /> Number 4570, a resolution of the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, <br /> declaring official intent to reimburse expenditures for a new library.
