<br /> <br />Councilor Taylor, seconded by Councilor Bettman, moved to substitute Kevin <br />Matthews. The motion to substitute Kevin Matthews failed 3:5, with Councilors <br />Taylor, Bettman and Ortiz voting in favor, and Councilors Pryor, Clark, Poling, <br />Zelenka and Solomon voting in opposition. <br /> <br />The motion to appoint Mark Johnson to the EWEB Community Advisory Team <br />passed 6:2, with Councilors Pryor, Clark, Zelenka, Poling, Ortiz and Solomon <br />voting in favor, and Councilors Taylor and Bettman voting in opposition. <br /> <br />Councilor Pryor, seconded by Councilor Bettman, moved to appoint Mary Unruh to <br />the EWEB Community Advisory Team. The motion passed unanimously, 8:0. <br /> <br />Councilor Pryor, seconded by Councilor Bettman, moved to appoint Pat Johnston <br />to the EWEB Community Advisory Team. The motion passed 6:2, with Council- <br />ors Pryor, Clark, Zelenka, Poling, Bettman, and Taylor voting in favor, and Coun- <br />cilors Solomon and Ortiz voting in opposition. <br /> <br />Councilor Pryor, seconded by Councilor Bettman, moved to appoint Molly Myers <br />to the EWEB Community Advisory Team. <br /> <br />Councilor Clark, seconded by Councilor Poling, moved to substitute Anita Van <br />Asperdt. <br /> <br />Councilor Bettman would not support the amendment because Ms. Meyer had addressed issues of children <br />and senior citizens in the community. <br /> <br />The motion to substitute Anita Van Asperdt passed 6:2, with Councilors Ortiz, <br />Pryor, Clark, Poling, Zelenka and Solomon voting in favor, and Councilors Taylor <br />and Bettman voting in opposition. <br /> <br />The motion to appoint Anita Van Asperdt passed 6:2, with Councilors Ortiz, <br />Pryor, Clark, Poling, Zelenka and Solomon voting in favor, and Councilors Taylor <br />and Bettman voting in opposition. <br /> <br /> <br />The City Council took a recess from 7:10 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilor Ortiz asked to be excused from the Public Hearing, stating she would view it on Metro Vision or <br />on-line since she had a commitment to attend the River Road Community Organization meeting. <br /> <br />Councilor Solomon said she would watch the Public Hearing on her computer. <br /> <br /> <br />2. PUBLIC HEARING: Minor Code Amendments (MCAs) <br /> <br />Mayor Piercy explained the process for conducting a public hearing.
