To <br />the extent that historic properties are zoned for lower density residential uses, the proposed <br />transition standards are consistent with this policy. The options to limit building height, set <br />buildings back, and provide landscaping amenities will minimize the impacts of new higher <br />density development on existing abutting lower density development.
