P.N ORDINANCE CONCERNING EXTRATERRITORIAL WATER AND <br />SEWER SERVICE EXTENSIONS AND ANNEXED PROPERTY SERVED <br />°v EXISTING SEWERS, AMENDING SECTIONS 2.212 AND 7.055 <br />OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />amended to read and provide: <br />2.212 Extraterritorial Water and Sewer Service Extensions. <br />' The czty manager or is esignee is hereby authorized <br />to receive on behalf of the city requests for extraterritorial <br />water service extensions, sewer service extensions, or provi- <br />sion of water or sewer service to special service districts. <br />The city rnanager, or his designee, shall submit such requests <br />to the Jane County Boundary Commission, together with a favor- <br />able recommendation by the city only if the city manager, or <br />his designee, finds that the extension of service as proposed <br />would be consistent in all respects with adopted resolutions, <br />,policies, plans and ordinances. <br />rina the current subsections (2) and (3) to <br />and (4) respectively and adding a new suasection (2) to read and <br />as a part of the city's sanitary sewer system. After such <br />acceptance, the city may establish special assegsmerit and con- <br />nection fees in the manner arovided by law. <br />public health and welfare and therefore, an emergency is hereby de- <br />clared to exist, and the provisions of this Ordinance shall become <br />effective immediately upon its passage by the Common Council and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed by the Common Council. <br />this 26th day of April, 1976. <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />26th day ofjApril, 197G. <br />Hance <br />
