<br />Z 76-1] <br />ORDINANCE N0. /76 Q 2 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONIfJG MAF <br />OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON. <br />THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON, FINDS: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 22.7.210 - 227.280 and Sections 9.668-9.684 <br />of the Eugene Code, 1971, the Common Council has the authority and responsi- <br />bility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the zoning <br />classification of property within the City of Eugene, <br />The report of 'the Planning Commission and the testimony presented contains <br />specific affirmati~le rindings to the effect that the request for a change of <br />zone is in conformance with the General Plan; that there is public need for <br />the change in zone; and that the sublic need can best be served by changing <br />the classification of this property. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DDES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The specific affirmative findings contained in ti-e report of the <br />~la~nn7 g Commission and the testimony presented be and the same are hereby <br />adopted. <br />Section 2. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the zoning <br />map, and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby amended <br />to reflect the following change of zone: <br />A portion of Tax Lot 300 - Assessor's ~1ap 18-04-11-U O, <br />as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit "A," <br />located southeast of the south end cf Marren Street directly <br />north of the S^uth Hills ridgeline: <br />.7_oning of a newly annexed area from County AGT Agricultural <br />Grazing and Timber Raising to City RA-PD Suburban Residential <br />District with Planned Unit Develcpment procedures, <br />ction 3. The Planning Director be, and he is hereby authorized and directed <br />cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes <br />attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the foregoing change <br />of classification of area and to note thereon the rule with respect co tuilding <br />in the appropriate classification. <br />P«ssed by the Carrmon Council on Approved by the Mayor on <br />
