ORDINANCE NO. 20150 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE DOWNTOWN MALL; <br />AND AMENDING THE SUNSET PROVISIONS OF SECTION <br />2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 20121. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that <br />A. On June 8, 1998 Ordinance No. 20121 was passed by the Council and approved by <br />the Mayor adding a new Section 4.874 to the Eugene Code, 1971 authorizing the issuance of a notice <br />of exclusion from the downtown mall in accordance with the procedures set forth in that section. <br />Section 2 of the Ordinance, which was not included in the Code, provided an automatic repeal of <br />Ordinance No. 20121 and Section 4.874 of the Eugene Code, 1971 effective midnight, March 31, <br />1999. <br />B. It would be in the public interest to amend Section 2 of Ordinance No. 20121 to <br />provide that the Ordinance and Section 4.874 of the Eugene Code, 1971 be automatically repealed <br />effective midnight, Apri130, 2001. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Section (2) of Ordinance No. 20121 passed by the Council and approved by the <br />Mayor on June 8, 1998 is hereby amended to provide: <br />"Section 2. This Ordinance, and Section 4.874 of the Eugene Code, 1971, are <br />repealed effective midnight, Apri130, 2001." <br />Section 2.
