<br />ATTACHMENT E <br />Outline for Public Outreach <br /> <br /> <br />Administrative Rule <br />Notice requirements for adoption of administrative rules are set out in Eugene City Code 2.019. <br />Interested persons must be provided at least 15 days following notice of intended rulemaking to <br />submit data or views before the City Manager makes findings that consider written submissions. <br /> <br />City Code <br />Public hearings are scheduled on ordinances proposed to revise Eugene City Code. Required <br />public notice is provided through posting on the City of Eugene website and through legal notice <br />in The Register-Guard. <br /> <br />Interested Parties <br />Planning & Development Department staff has created an interested parties list for smoking <br />regulations, and has provided materials and notices on several occasions in 2005. On the list are <br />several bar and tavern owners, the Oregon Restaurant Association, Lane County Public Health, <br />Lane County Medical Society and others. Interested parties will continue to receive notices of <br />proposed regulatory changes and other updates. <br />
