Anew Section 2.215 is added to the Eugene Code, 19T1, to provide: 2.215 Housi n Rehabilitation Loan Review Committee. ~ 1 } Pur ose. A hous i ng rehabi 1 i tat i an 1 aan review committee i s created, which shall serve as an advisory body to city staff in connection with the city's housing rehabi 1 i tati on loan programs . ~ 2 } Duties ; The committee shall review underwriting or program requirements and haus~ ng rehabi 1 ~ tati on loan requests, and make recommenda- t~ ons to c~ ty staff concerns ng housing rehabilitation lawn approvals or denials . ~3 } Membersh i The committee shall consist of five members nomi - nated by the mayor and appointed by the council . One member shal 1 be sel ect- ed from each of the fall owing areas of expertise useful i n evaluating hausi ng rehabilitation 1 oan requests: ~a} Real estate appraisal; fib} Finance; ~c} Finance/real estate investment; ~d} low- i ncame persons/mi Hari ti es/people with di sabi 1 i ti es; and, fie} Low-income housing. ~4} Term of Office. The initial terms shall be staggered, with three members appo~ rated for a two year term and two members appointed for a one year ,term.
