FINDINGS AND RECD ATIDNS <br />SUBJECT: SANITARY SEWER ASSESSMENT FOR TAX LOT 17-041431-11900 <br />RIVER ROAD SArTITARY SEWER PROJECT BASIN B <br />(CONTRACT 90-10) <br />BACKGROUND <br />This project was initiated by City Council in May of 1990. At the time of final assessment in <br />February 199 ~ this particular tax lot was undergoing bankruptcy proceedings. The tax lot was <br />deleted from the final assessment roll until such time that an assessment lien could be placed <br />with limited risk. <br />ASSESSMENT <br />The assessment is based on actual costs of the construction of the project and the current local <br />and regional systems development charges. The costs to be assessed are shown below: <br />Lateral $ .30/square foot <br />Service $ 727.86/each <br />Levy $ .025/square foot <br />MWMC $ 222.00/each <br />REC4 ATIaN <br />The final cost are similar to the preliminary casts quoted at the local improvement hearing and <br />are comparable to those assessed to other properties in the vicinity of this tax lot. Staff rec~m- <br />mends approval of the assessment. <br />A hearing regarding the above assessment was scheduled far October 22,1991 at 6:00 P.M, in <br />the First Flaar Conference Room of City Hall II. Na persons appeared in regard to that <br />hearing. <br />Based upon the information provided by the City Engineer, the Hearings Official finds that the <br />assessments for this project have been calculated in accordance with Eugene Code.
