ORDINANCE NO. 19814 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING MEMBERSHIP ON THE LANE <br />REGIONAL AIR POLLUTION AUTHORITY; AMENDING SEC- <br />TION 2.013 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; <br />Section 1. The provisions relating to the membership on the Lane <br />Regional Air Pollution Authority ~LRAPA} set forth in Subsection ~1} of Sec- <br />tion 2.013 of the Eugene Code, 1911, are amended to provide: <br />2.a13 Cit Council - Boards Commissions and Committees. <br />~1} The fallowing are the presently constituted boards and <br />cammi ss i ons and cammi ttees of the city with the number of members and names <br />of the appai nti ve authority indicated thereafter, together with the term <br />and the authority for such board, commission or committee: <br />lane Regional Air Pollution Authori t <br />No, of Members: 1 Councilor <br />2 Citizens <br />Appointment Process: Mayor appoints, or reappoints Councilor <br />Mayor nominates, Council appoints citi- <br />zen members <br />Term; Councilor member appointed or <br />reappointed annually <br />3 years -citizen members* <br />Authority: ORS 468.520 <br />*Of the terms cammenc i ng 1-1-92, one member shall be appointed for a <br />two-year term and one member for a three year term. <br />Section 2. The City Recorder, at the request of, or with the concur- <br />rence of the City Attorney, i s authorized to administratively correct any <br />reference errors contained herein or i n other provisions of the Eugene Code, <br />1911 to the provisions added, amended or repealed herein. <br />5ecti on 3. That the matters contained herein concern the public wel - <br />fare, and in order to ensure adequate time to interview Candidates and <br />appai nt members i n accordance with the procedures established herein, an <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
