ORDINANCE NO. ~~ <br />Aw ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR WITHDRAWAL <br />FROM THE JUNCTION CITY WATER CONTROL <br />DISTRICT THAT PART OF THE DISTRICT' ANNEXED <br />TO THE CITY OF EUGENE BY THE LANE COUNTY <br />LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION <br />ON MAY 21, 199. DRIVER ROAD CHURCH OF <br />CHRIST, EC EU 94-06}. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution No. 4289 adopted <br />December 2, 1991, proposed withdrawal from the Junction City Water Control <br />District that part of the District annexed to the City an May 21,199D by Final Order <br />No. 925 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter <br />described. <br />The Resolution set January 13, 1992, at 7:34 p.m., Pacific Time, in the <br />Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, Oregon, as the time and place for hearing <br />ob~ectians to the withdrawal, and directed that notice of the time and place of the <br />hearing be published once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearing <br />and be posted in four public places in the City for the same period. <br />The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard and pasted in faur <br />public places in the City of Eugene, Oregon. <br />The City is willing to assume the liabilities and indebtedness previously <br />contracted by the District proportionate to the part of the District that has been <br />annexed to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawal. <br />The withdrawal of the annexed territory from the District is consistent with <br />the fundamental principles and applicable policies of the Eugene-Springfield <br />Metropolitan Area General Plan, and other adopted City policies, and it is in the <br />best interest of the City that the territory be withdrawn. <br />wow, THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1.
