ORDINANCE NO. _19 g 1 q AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FDR RAyVAL FROM THE RIVER ROAD WATER DISTRICT AND RIVER ROAD PARK & RECREATION DISTRICT THAT PART OF THE DISTRICTS ANNE~D TO THE CITY OF EUGENE BY THE LANE COUNTY LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION ON MARCH 29,1991. ~GASKIN, EC EU 91-14}. The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution No. 4294 adopted December 2, 1991, proposed withdrawal from the River Raad water District and River Road Park & Recreation District that part of the Districts annexed to the City on March 29, 1991 by Notice dated April 2, 1991 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter described. The Resolution set January 13, 1992, at 7:3a p.m., Pacific Thee, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, aregan, as the time and place far hearing objections to the withdrawals, and directed that notice of the time and place of the hearing be published once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearing and be posted in four public places in the City far the same period. The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard and posted in four public places in the City of Eugene, Oregon. The City is willing to assume the liabilities and indebtedness previously contracted by the Districts proportionate to the part of the Districts that have been annexed to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawal. The withdrawal of the annexed territory from the Districts is consistent with the fundamental principles and applicable policies of the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan, and other adapted City policies, and it is in the best interest of the City that the territory be withdrawn. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY DF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The territory in Lane County, Gregan, annexed to the City of Eugene on March 29, 1991, as bounded and described as follows: A parcel of land located in the River Road area, on the ordinance - 1
