ORDINANCE NO. _t AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING F4R WITHDRAWAL FROM THE RIVER ROAD WATER DISTRICT AND RIVER ROAD PARK & RECREATION DISTRICT THAT PART OF THE DISTRICTS ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF EUGENE BY THE LANE COUNTY LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION ON MAY 20, 1991. (MeGEEBROWN, EC EU 91-11). The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution No. 4283 adopted December 2, 1991, proposed withdrawal from the River Road Water District and River Road Park & Recreation District that part of the Districts annexed to the City on May 24, 1991 by Final Order No. 939 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter described. The Resolution set January 13, 1992, at 7:30 p.m., Pacific Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, Oregon, as the time and glace far hearing objections to the withdrawals, and directed that notice of the time and glace of the hearing be published once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearing and be posted in four public places in the City for the same period. The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard and posted in four ::., public places in the City of Eugene, Oregon. s; ii The City is willing to assume the liabilities and indebtedness previously contracted by the Districts proportionate to the art of the Districts that have been p annexed to the Cifiy upon the effective date of the withdrawal. The withdrawal of the annexed territory from the Districts is consistent with the fundamental principles and applicable policies of the Eugene~Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan, and other adopted City policies, and it is in the best interest of the City that the territory be withdrawn. NOW, THEREFORE, 'THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOV~S: Section 1.
