The Public Facilities and Services Element of <br />the Willakenzie Plan provides for the maintenance and improvement of the <br />existing urban services network in the planning area. It provides for the <br />extension of sanitary and storm sewers in urbanizable areas and for the de- <br />velopment anew public safety station to improve police, fire and emer enc <br />medical services to the g y <br />area. <br />The Wi 11 akenzi a planning area contains almost I , 000 acres of urban i zabl e <br />land. Proposed amendment areas 16, 17, 18, 22, 24, 25, and 2H are within the <br />urbanizable area. A portion of amendment area I9 is also within the <br />urbanizable area. <br />Goal 13 - Energ Conservation <br />The goal intends that land uses be managed to maximize energy conservation. <br />This goal encourages land use patterns which allow people to live, work <br />shop, and recreate in the same geographic area.
