ORDINANCE N0. l~i~'SS~ AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO THE EUGENEwSPRINGFIELD METROPOLITAN AREA PUBLIC FACILITIES PLAN The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: 1. The Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area Public Facilities P1 an PFP} is a functional refinement plan of the Metropolitan Area General Plan. 2. The City of Eugene has initiated amendments to the Eugene-Spring- field Metropolitan Area Public Facilities Plan. 3. The PFP amendments are identical to the TransPlan amendments in that the PFP amendments are revisions to the PFP Street and Highway Project List and Bicycle Project List . 4. Adoption of these amendments has been recommended by the Eugene, Springfield, and Lane County Planning Commissions. Notice of public hearings before the Planning Commission and City Council has been given as required by Eugene Code, 1971, Section 9.134. 5. The amendments to the PFP project lists are necessary as an imple- mentation of the wi1lakenzie Area Plan. 6. The amendments are consistent with applicable Statewide Planning Goals, and meet other criteria for approval of refinement plan amendments as required by Section 9.1452} of the Eugene Cade. NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section I. The findings set forth above and the findings contained in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference are adopted. Section 2. The Public Facilities Plan Street and Highway Project List and Bicycle Project List are amended to provide for the projects listed in Exhibit B attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3. These .PFP amendments shall become effective when identical amendments have been adopted by Lane County and the City of Springfield.
