ORDINANCE N0. L ~g ~t I <br />AN ORDINANCE ELECTING TO RECEIVE STATE REVENUE SHARING <br />FUNDS PURSUANT TO SECTION 221.170 OF OREGON REVISED <br />STATUTES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City of Eugene, Oregon, for the fiscal year ending June <br />30, 1993, elects to receive distribution of funds from State Revenue Sharing <br />pursuant to Oregon Revised Statutes Section 221.770. <br />Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby directed to file a copy of this <br />Ordinance with the Executive Department of the State of Oregon as prescribed <br />by Oregon Revised Statutes Section 221.170. <br />r <br />Section 3. Because election to receive State Revenue Sharing funds for <br />the fiscal year ending June 30, 1993 is required by law to be made by the <br />City Council by enactment of an ordinance and filed with the Executive De- <br />partment of the State of Oregon, it is necessary for the welfare of the City <br />of Eugene that said filing be made without delay, and an emergency is hereby <br />declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force <br />from and after its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />22nd day of June, 1982 <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />22nd day of June, 1992 <br />~~2~~_ a <br />City Recorder <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />cebdoas <br />
