The Springfield and Eugene City Councils and the Lane County Board of <br />Commissioners held a public hearing an December 9,1992 on the proposed amendments <br />to the Metro Plan Diagram, and the City Council of the City of Eugene is now ready to <br />take action. <br />N4~; THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY GF EUGENE DGES URDAIN AS FGLLGWS: <br />Section 1. The above findings, and the findings set forth in Exhibit A, attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein by reference are adopted. <br />Section 2. The Plan Diagram of the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General <br />Plan is hereby amended by changing the land use designation contained therein for Tax <br />Lots 3400, 3401, 3500, 3600, 3700, 3701, 3800, and 3900, Assessor's Map 17-04-10.0 4 <br />from light-medium industrial to law-density residential. <br />Section 3. The Plan Diagram amendments set forth above take precedence over <br />any other inconsistent textual provisions of the Metropolitan Area General Plan. <br />Section 4. These Metro Plan amendments shall became effective when identical <br />amendments to the Metro Plan Diagram are adopted by the Springfield City Council and <br />the Lane County Board of Commissioners. <br />Section 5. ~f any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this <br />C]rdinance is far any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent <br />jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision, <br />and such holding shall not effect the validity of the remaining portions hereof. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />day of L~c~m~. , 1992 <br />~~ '(/ /~~ <br />City Recorder <br /> <br />Aa~l~ <br />Grdinance - 2 <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />
