ORDINANCE N0. 19929 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING BUSINESS REGULATIONS; AMENDING <br />SECTIONS 2.606, 3.005, 3.050, 3.055, 3.345, 3.862, <br />3.864, 3.866, AND 3.990 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1911; <br />AMENDING AND RENUMBERING SECTIONS 3.115, 3.111, 3.131, <br />3.134 AND 3.145 OF THAT CODE TO 3.850, 3.852, 3.$54, <br />3.856, AND 3.858 RESPECTIVELY; AND ADDING NEW SECTIONS <br />3.210 AND 3.868 TO THAT CODE. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Subsection ~ 2 } of Section 2.606 of the Eugene Code, 1911, i s <br />amended to provide: <br />2.606 Ambulance Service. <br />~2~ In the event an ambulance operator's registration lapses or is <br />cancelled under chapter 3 of this code or it is determined by the city manager <br />that the community is or will imminently be without ambulance service, the city <br />manager i s authorized to expend public funds from whatever source to provide <br />ambulance service to the community unti 1 directed by the counci 1 to cease the <br />expenditures, unti 1 the counci 1 adopts a suppl emental budget under the Oregon <br />Local Budget Law, ar unti 1 60 days, whichever i s 1 ess. <br />Section 2. Section 3.005 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended by adding <br />a definition for "Principal" in alphabetical order under the "General" <br />definitions of that section; by adding a definition for "Club car service" in <br />a1 phabet i cal order to the Public Passenger Vehicles definitions under the <br />"licensed Businesses" definitions, amending the definition of "Public passenger <br />vehicle," deleting the definition for "limousine" therefrom and inserting it in <br />alphabetical order under the "Uniform Business Practices" definitions; del et i ng <br />the definitions for "Ambulance" set forth under the "Licensed Businesses" <br />definitions, and inserting them i n al phabeti ca] order under the "Uniform Business <br />Practices" definitions of that Section 3.005; and adding definitions for "Medical <br />transport vehicle," "Medical transport vehicle operator," and "Medical transport <br />veh i ci a owner" i n al phabet i cai order under the "Un i farm Business Practices" <br />Ordi Hance - 1 <br />
