ORDINANCE N0. 19951 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING PERMIT FEES FOR USE OF THE <br />PUBLIC WAY; AND AMENDING SECTION 1.300 OF THE EUGENE <br />CODE, 1911. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Section 1, 300 of the Eugene Code, 1911, i s amended to provide; <br />1.300 Public Wa Construction and Use -Permit Fees. <br />~ 1 ~ The fee for a permi t required by section 1.290 shat 1 be set by <br />the city manager pursuant to section 2.020 of this code to defray the cast of <br />inspection and administration of the code provisions covering work affecting the <br />public way. <br />~ 2~ Except when the permi ttee i s a mun i c i pal ut i 1 i ty or a <br />franch~ see, i n adds t~ on to the fee required i n subsecti an 7.300 ~ 1 ~ , a fee for <br />1 eavi ng any structure, pipe, conduit, culvert ar f ac i 1 i ty i n the publ~ i c way may <br />be set by the city manager pursuant to section 2.020 of this code to provide a <br />reasonable return to the public for the permitted on-going use of the pub1 i c way. <br />Passed by the Gity Council this <br />31st day of January, 1994 <br />•--... <br />i <br />City Recor er <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />31st day of January, 1994 <br />Mayor <br />
