INTRODUcrrON <br /> <br />The property involved in this request is located east of Beltline Road north of Barger Drive <br />and west of Empire Park Road and consists of 99.6 acres. To the east, Tax lot 3500, map 17-04-15 is occupied by what appears <br />to be an old motel while 3501 is occupied by a single dwelling. North of the property is the <br />various additions to Clarey Subdivision which is all single family and largely developed. <br />There is an undeveloped 5 acre park site which lies between the extension of Wagner and <br />Mangan Streets. This park site was purchased from the applicants following adoption of <br />the Bethel-Danebo Refinement Plan. <br /> <br />IT. PROPOSED CHANGE IN TEXT - BETHEL-DANEBO RBFINEMENT PlAN <br /> <br />The Bethel-Danebo Refinement Plan was drafted by a Planning Team consisting of <br />members from the Active Bethel Citizens, Bethel Triangle Neighbors, and Eugene Planning <br />Department staff. The Plan was approved by the Eugene Planning commi~ion in June, <br />1982 and adopted by the City Councn September 13, 1982. <br /> <br />The applicants for thiS proposed change own approximately 99 acres located on -the north <br />side of Barger Drive as previously noted and this acreage is referred to in the Refinement <br />Plan as the Barger-Beltline Development Node. The text of the Refinement Plan is <br />proposed to be amended to provide for an additiona110 acres of Commer~a1ly designated . <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />1-13. <br />
