ORDINANCE N0. 19991 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE OFFENSE OF INTERFERENCE WITH <br />A POLICE OFFICER, AND AMENDING SECTION 4.901 OF THE <br />EUGENE CODE, 1911. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Section 4.941 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended to provide: <br />.941 Interferin With a Po <br />',~,a,,. ' ,,.,. .,.,, 1 ice,,,,,,Off,i,cer. It shall be unlawful for any <br />person, ~ ntenti oval 11y ar with reckless disregard thereof to <br />interfere wi th a pol i ce officer i n the officer's 1 awf u1 performance of his or her <br />duties . To interfere with as used i n this section shal 1 mean any physical act, <br />i ncl udi ng a refusal to 1 eave a parti cut ar area i n response to a 1 awful order from <br />a police officer, that prevents or could reasonably be expected to prevent a <br />police officer from performing his or her duties. This section shall not apply <br />to interference with the making of an arrest. <br />Section ~ .
