Government Boundary Commission dated Gctober 5,1995; and on January 22,1996 by Final Grder No. 1057 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated December 7,1995; ~c} withdrawal from the willamalane Park and Recreation District the part of the District annexed to the City on November 28, 1995 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated December 14,1995; and ~d) VL~ithdrawal from the Junction City water Control District the part of the District annexed to the City on May 23,1994 by Final Grder No. 993 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated April 7, 1994, all as hereinafter mare particularly described. The Resolution set February 26, 1996, at 7:30 P.M., Pacific Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, Gregon, as the time and place for hearing objections to the withdrawals, and directed that notice of the time and place of the hearing be published once each week for. two consecutive weeks prior to the hearing and be posted in four public places in the Cifiy for the same period, The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard and posted in four public places in the City of Eugene, Gregor. The City is willing to assume the liabilities and indebtedness previously contracted by the Districts proportionate to the parts of the Districts that have been annexed to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawals. The withdrawals of the annexed territories from the Districts is consistent with the fundamental principles and applicable policies Of the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan, and other adopted City policies, and it is in the best interest of the City that the territories be withdrawn, NGW, THEREFGRE, THE CITY OF EUGENE DGES GRDAIN AS FGLLUWS: Section 1. The territory in Lane County, Gregon, annexed to the City of Eugene on September 5,1995 by Notice of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated October 26, 1995, as bounded and described as follows: Tax Lots 3700 and 3701, Assessor's Map 17-04-25 2 2, located in the southern portion of the River Road area of North Eugene, west of River Road, north of Crocker Lane, aid South of Hansen Lane, as more particularly described on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. ~Stiffler, Grdinance - 2
