ORDINANCE N0. ~5~ <br />An Ordinance vacating the following described unimproved public right-of- <br />way , to wit <br />The unimproved pub1 i c right-of-way 40-feet wide <br />extending from the south margin of Royal Avenue 50 feet, <br />located south of Royal Avenue between Bertelsen Road to <br />the east and Ruskin Street to the west , Tax Lats 2500 <br />and 2600, Assessor's Map 17-04-27-22; as more <br />parti cut arty described i n Exhi bi t A attached hereto. <br />~ McKay , SV 96- 003 } <br />Dn the 10th day of June, 1996, the City Council of the City of Eugene by <br />Motion duly passed, cal 1 ed a publ i c hearing to be het d at 7 :30 p, m. , Pacific Time <br />on the 22nd day of July, 1996, at the Council Chambers at City Hall, Eugene, <br />Gregon , at which time and place protests and remonstrances could be heard as to <br />the proposed vacation of the above-described unimproved public right-of-way. <br />Notice was duly and regularly given of the hearing and at said time and <br />place the Council heard all objections to the proposed vacation. <br />All persons owning property abutting the public right-of-way to be vacated <br />have consented to the vacation and applied for the same. <br />THE CITY of EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that due and <br />regular notice of the hearing was published and posted as by law required, and <br />no va 1 i d objections were made at the hearing or f i 1 ed . The consent of the owners <br />of the abutting property has been duly and regularly filed in the proceedings and <br />aRDINANCE - 1 <br />
