The standards <br />require access for fire protection[ and also require screening to protect the <br />privacy of abutting residences]. The intent is to provide additional housing <br />opportunities and to promote the efficient use of residential land. Home <br />occupations and secondary dwellings are prohibited because of limited access <br />and the greater impacts these uses would place on abutting sites. <br />Measurements. <br />(a) Flag Lot Dimensions. Residential flag lot [average] width dimension is <br />measured from the mid-point between two opposite lot lines of the flag <br />portion of the lot. <br /> <br />@ <br /> <br />Section 16. Subsection (3)(a) of Section 9.2795 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended <br /> <br />to provide: <br /> <br />9.2795 <br /> <br />Solar Setback Standards. <br /> <br />@ <br /> <br />(3) Exemptions to Solar Setback Requirements. A building is exempt from the <br />solar setback standards when any of the following conditions exist: <br />(a) Slopes.
