RESOLUTION 4777 A RESOLUTION AMENDING EUGENE CITY COUNCIL OPERATING AGREEMENTS AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NUMBER 4739. The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: A. On June 14, 1999, Ordinance No. 20156 was adopted amending section 2.007 of the Eugene Code, 1971, concerning regular meetings and council ground rules. B. On April 12, 1999, the Eugene City Council Operating Agreements were adopted by Resolution No. 4588 and subsequently amended by Resolution No. 4590 on June 14, 1999. The Eugene City Council considered further amendments to the Operating Agreements on July 31,2000. On September 25,2000, the Operating Agreements were amended by Resolution 4645. On January 31, 2001 the Eugene City Council meeting revisions to the Operating Agreements were discussed and approved by a vote of the members. These amendments were formally adopted in Resolution Number 4663. On May 21,2001, Resolution 4671 was adopted by the City Council to amend the Operating Agreements as requested by the City Council. On September 9, 2002, the Eugene City Council approved Resolution 4739, to adopted the revisions to the Operating Agreements made in August and September of 2002. C. Revisions have been requested the Operating Agreements and were agreed to by the City Council on September 10,2003. It is necessary to approve the revisions in order that the Operating Agreements reflect the desire of the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, a Municipal Corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows: Section 1. Based on the above findings, the Council amends the Eugene City Council Operating Agreements, referred to as ground rules in the Eugene Code, 1971, as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein. Section 2. Resolution No. 4739 and the Operating Agreements adopted therein are hereby repealed. The foregoing Resolution adopted the 22nd day of September, 2003. --h~der Resolution
