<br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LOCAL STREETS AND PUBLIC
<br />IMPROVEMENTS ; AMENDING SECTIONS 6.300 , 6.305, 7.010 ,
<br />7.085 , 7.140 , 7.290 , 7.640 , 7.650 , 9.015 , 9.030 , 9.033 ,
<br />9.035 , 9.040 , 9.045 , 9.050 , 9.055 , 9.060 , 9.075 , 9 , 085 ,
<br />9.510, 9.512, 9.386, 9.574, 9.68$, AND 9.702 OF THE
<br />EUGENE CODE, 1971 ~ AND ADDING A NEw SECTION 7.280 TO
<br />THAT CODE,
<br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
<br />~r ~. Section 6,300 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is ar~ended by adding
<br />definitions for "Neri tage tree" and "Street tree" i n alphabetical order therein,
<br />to provide:
<br />6.300 ~.f ~ i i n . As used i n section 6.305 to 6.330 of this Code, the
<br />follo~ing definitions apply:
<br />Hari tr Any tree of exceptional value to our community
<br />based on its size ~ rel ati ve to speci es ~ , history, 1 ocati on , or
<br />species , or any combination of these criteria . The speci fi c
<br />methodology for c1 assi fyi ng a tree as a heri Cage tree sha11 be
<br />estab1 i shed by administrative rule of the city manager adopted
<br />pursuant to section Z.D19 of this code.

<br />a single trunk at 1 east 1-112 inch i n diameter at a poi nt six inches
<br />above mean ground 1 evel at the base of the trunk, that i s 1 ocated
<br />within the street right-of-way,
<br />i Section 6.305 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended by adding
<br />new Subsections (3) and (4) thereto, to provide:
