ORDINANCE No . 24071 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING DOGS AND SKATEBOARDS ~ AMENDING <br />SECTION 4.427 To THE EUGENE CODE, 1971 ~ AND AMENDING <br />SECTION 5.450 OF THAT CODE. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Subsection ~ 1 } of Section 4.427 of the Eugene Code , 1971, i s <br />amended to provide <br />4.427 Dos -Certain Areas Prohibited , <br />t 1 } Except as provided i n subsection ~ 2 } of this section , no dog <br />owner shall permit a dog to be on Alder Street, including the sidewalks thereof, <br />between and including the southern sidewalk ofi East 12th Avenue and the northern <br />sidewalk of East 14th Avenue, nor an East 13th Avenue, including the sidewalks <br />thereof , between and including the eastern sidewalk of Pearl Street and the <br />eastern sidewalk of Kincaid Street . <br />Section 2. Subsection (2)(e) of Section 5.450 of the Eugene Code, 1971, <br />i s amended to provide ; <br />5.450 Skateboards . <br />~2} No person shall ride a skateboard; <br />fie} on Al der Street, including the sidewalks thereof , <br />between and including the southern sidewalk of East 12th Avenue and <br />the northern sidewalk of East 14th Avenue, nor on East 13th Avenue, <br />including the sidewalks thereof , between and including the eastern <br />s i dewa 1 k of Pearl Street and the eastern s i dewa 1 k of Kincaid Street . <br />Section 3 . The City Recorder , at the request of , or with the concurrence <br />of the City Attorney, may administratively correct any reference errors contained <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
