The telecommunications ordinance provides opportunities for the location of telecommunication facilities throughout the City of Eugene. By providing forthe buildout of a telecommunications system throughout the community, this ordinance promotes energy conservation through the potential for reduced automobile trips resulting from increasing opportunities for "doing business,"whetherthatbusiness iswork-related, home- related orschool-related, from the home.
