ORDINANCE NO. a~D ~1 ~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CGNCERNING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS; <br />READOPTING SECTION 5.005 GF THE EUGENE CODE, <br />1911; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLO~IIIS: <br />Section 1. Section 5,005 of the Eugene Code, 1911, is hereby readopted, to <br />provide: <br />5.005 State Trafl~c Laws. The provisions of ORS Chapters 801, 802, 803, <br />805, 806, 801, 809, 810, 811, 813, 814, 815, 816, 818, 819, 820, 821, 822, <br />823, and 153, including any amendments thereto bythe Oregon Legislative Assembly, are <br />hereby adopted, and violations thereof shall constitute an offense against the city. <br />Section 2. The City Recorder, at the request of, or with the concurrence of the City <br />Attorney, is authorized to administratively correct any reference errors contained herein or <br />in other provisions of the Eugene Code, 1911, to the provisions added, amended or <br />repealed herein. <br />Section 3. That the matters contained herein concern the public welfare and safety, <br />and in order to ensure compliance with state law, an emergency is hereby declared to <br />exist, and this Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the City <br />Council and approval by the Mayor, retention by the Mayor for more than ten days, or <br />readoption over a Mayoral veto bytwo-thirds of all members of the City Council. <br />Passed by the City Council this Approved by the Mayor this <br />~ day of ~ b~~ , 1997 <br />City Record r <br />Ordinance <br />a~' day of ~~~-~- .1997 <br />
