ORDINANCE NO. O/•/ AN oRDINANCE PROVIDING FoR WITHDRAWAL of TERRITORY (BREEDEN LAND C(l., C EU 97-3b~ FROM THE JUNCTION CITY WATER CUNTROL DISTRICT, The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution Na. 4557 adopted February 23,1998, proposed withdrawal from the Junction City Water Control District the part of the District annexed to the City on July 21, 1997, by Final Grder No. 1110 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated June 5,1997, as hereinafter mare particularly described. The Resolution set March 11,1998, at 11:30 a.m. Pacific Time, in the McNutt Room, City Hall, in Eugene, Gregon, as the time and place for hearing obj ections to the withdrawal, and directed that notice of the time and place of the hearing be published once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearing and be posted in four public places in the City for the same period. The Notice has been so published in the Register Guard and posted in four public places in the City of Eugene, Gregon. The City is willing to assume the liabilities and indebtedness previously contracted by the District proportionate to the part of the District that has been annexed to the City upon the effective date of the withdrawal. The withdrawal of the annexed territory from the District is consistent with the fundamental principles and applicable policies of the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan, and other adapted City policies, and it is in the best interest of the City that the territory be withdrawn. Now, THEREFORE, THE CITY of EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FoLL4WS: Section 1, The territory in Lane County, Gregon, annexed to the City of Eugene on July 21, 1997, by Final Grder No.1110 of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission dated June 5,1997, as bounded and described as follows; Tax lot 7000, Assessor's Map 17-04-03 14, Tax Lots 16500,14600, and 16700, Assessor's Map 17-04-03 1 3, and a portion of Tax Lot 200, Assessor's Map 17-04-03 0 0, located in the Santa Clara area of north Eugene, north of Lynnbrook Drive and east of Berrywood Drive, and more particularly described on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
