Exhibit B <br />to <br />Ordinance No. <br />FINDINGS IN SUPPORT OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE EUGENE-SPRINGFIELD <br />METROPOLITAN AREA GENERAL PLAN TO ADOPT A NEVL~ "RESIDENTIAL LAND <br />USE AND HOUSING" ELEMENT AND RELATED CHANGES TO THE PLAN TEXT AND <br />GLOSSARY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />The following criteria from Eugene Code Section 9.1283}, and Springfield Develo meat Code <br />p <br />7.0703}, and Lane Code 12.2252} shall be applied by the elected officials in approvin or <br />g <br />denying an amendment to the Metro Plan: <br />~a} The amendment must be consistent with the relevant statewide planning goals <br />adopted by the Land Conservation and Development Commission; <br />fib} Adoption of the amendment must not make the Metro Plan internally inconsistent. <br />The Eugene and Springfield city councils and the Lane County Board of Commissioners make <br />the following f ndings with respect to the criteria set forth in Eugene Code Section 9.128 3 ,and <br />~} <br />Springfield Development Cade 7.0703}, and Lane Code 12.2252}: <br />The following information, analysis, reports, minutes and materials are included along with other <br />material, in the record of this proceedings.
