I. In May 1999, the Eugene City Council initiated proceedings to repeal the 1956 Alton <br />Baker Park Master Plan. <br />J. In July 1999, the Eugene, Lane County and Springf eld planning commissions 'ointl <br />J Y <br />held a public hearing to consider repeal of the 1956 Alton Baker Park Master Plan and each voted <br />unanimously to recommend the repeal to their respective elected officials. <br />K, Evidence exists within the record indicating that the proposal meets the requirements <br />of the Eugene Code,1971 and the requirements of applicable state and local law. <br />L, The Eugene City Council has conducted a public hearing on the recommended re eaI <br />p <br />of the 1956 Alton Baker Park Master Plan and is now ready to take action. <br />NQW, THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DQES QRDAIN AS FQLLQWS: <br />Section 1. The 1956 Alton Baker Park Master Plan, as adopted by City of Eugene <br />ordinance No.19395 on August 11,1956, is hereby repealed. <br />Section 2. Although not part of this Ordinance, f ndings in the attached Exhibit A are <br />adopted in support of this decision. <br />Section 3.
