ORDINANCE NO. 20178 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ACCEPTANCE OF REAL <br />PROPERTY ACQUISITIONS AND ADDING SECTION 2.017 <br />T4 THE EUGENE CODE, 1971. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DGES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Section 2.017 is hereby added to the Eugene Code,1971, to provide: <br />2.017 Cit Mana er - Acce Lance of Real Pro e Ac uisitions. In addition to the city <br />manager's authority under the Eugene Charter of 1976 to accept the transfer of title <br />to or interest in real property on behalf of the city when that transfer is contemplated by adapted <br />budgets, plans or policies of the city, the city manager or designee is authorized to accept real <br />property upon a determination that acceptance of the property interest is in the public interest and <br />acceptance does not create an ongoing financial obligation to the city. <br />Section 2.
