ORDINANCE NU. 20179 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING PARKING METERS, AND <br />AMENDING SECTION 5.310 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DUES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Subsection ~1} of Section 5.310 of the Eugene Code,1971, is amended to provide: <br />5.310 Deposit of„Coins~Tokens. <br />~ 1 } Except a.s this chapter otherwise permits, whenever a parking meter indicates <br />that the time for parking has expired, no person shall park a vehicle in the parking space for that <br />meter, or leave in that space a vehicle of which he or she has charge, without immediately activating <br />the meter. <br />Section 2. The City Recorder, at the request of, or with the concurrence of the City Attorney, <br />is authorized to administrativelycnrrect any reference errors contained herein or in other provisions <br />of the Eugene Code,1971, to the provisions added, amended or repealed herein. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />8th day of November,1999 <br />.-~, <br />City Record <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />8th day of November, 1999 <br />Mayor <br />Ordinance <br />
