The work that
CAFHN and the City's Planning Department have done provides a road map to accomplish both
objectives. The proposal that you will vote on meets or exceeds every density benchmark
for our neighborhood--while preserving the character that makes the Chambers Special Area
Zone such a desirable place to live.

Some would argue that it simply isn't possible to protect the quality of life in the
neighborhood, and allow for increased density. Don't believe that. We ask you to look more
deeply at the issues--as we have for the last several years. The proposal before you is
our best-faith effort--together with the Planning Department--to find viable solutions
that meet the needs of our city and our neighborhood.

Thank you for attention and consideration. We are confident that the creation of the
Chambers Special Area Zone will help us meet regional density goals while preserving our
established, urban neighborhood.

Thank you,

Matt Purvis
1391 W.
