ORDINANCE No. 19708 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING PARKING SPACE REQUIREMENTS <br />FOR MULTIPLE DWELLINGS IN .SPECIFIC DOWNTOWN AREA; <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 9.58 AND 9.58fi OF THE EUGENE CODE, <br />1971; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN A5 FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Subparagraph ~f~ of Section 9.582 of the Eugene Code, 1971, <br />is hereby amended, and a new subparagraph fig} added thereto, to provide: <br />_q „ f f -Street Parking. Off -street parking shall be provided <br />. 8z Re u i red D.. ..,.,... ,..,~... .~_ <br />as follows: <br />~f~ Off-street parking is not required in the following <br />areas: <br />1. Downtown, which is described as: <br />souTH sIDE: <br />East an 13th Avenue from Charneiton Street to the a11ey between <br />Oak and Pearl Streets. <br />EAST SIDE: <br />North from East 13th Avenue along the al 1 ey between Oak and Pearl <br />Streets to East 11th Avenue; then east on East 11th Avenue one- <br />hal f bl ock to Pearl Street; then north on Pearl Street to East <br />loth Avenue; then east on East loth Avenue one-hal f b1 ock to the <br />al 1 ey between Pearl and High Streets; then north along the al 1 ey <br />between Pearl and High Streets to East 8th Avenue; then west on <br />East 8th Avenue to East Park Street; then south on East Park <br />Park Street to South Park Street; then west an South Park Street <br />to West Park Street; then north on West Park Street if extended <br />along the west margin of the al 1 ey between Wi 11 amette Street and <br />Oak Street tv East 5th Avenue; then east 50 feet on East 5th Ave- <br />nue; then north to the south boundary of the Southern Paci f i c <br />Railroad right-af-way. <br />NORTH SIDE: <br />West along the south boundary of the Southern Pacific Rai 1 road <br />right-of -way to ~6o feet west of the Wi 11 amette Street right-of - <br />way; then south to West 5th Avenue; then west on West 5th Avenue <br />to O1 i ve Street; then south on D1 i ve Street to the al 1 ey between <br />West 5th and West 6th Avenues; then west along the alley between <br />West 5th and West 6th Avenues to Charnel ton Street. <br />WEST SIDE: <br />South on Charnel ton Street from the alley between West 5th and <br />West fith Avenues to West 13th Avenue. <br />See Figure 3A at the end of the Zoning Ordinance for a map of <br />the above area. <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
