The Work Group's consensus recommendations are embodied in this <br />revision to the solar access provisions in the Eugene Code, 1971. <br />Now, therefore, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Section 9.OI5 of the Eugene Code, 1911, is amended by amend- <br />ing the definitions of "Northern lot line," "North-south lot dimension," <br />"Solar setback," and "Sunchart," set forth therein; deleting the definitions <br />of "Insubstantial shade, " "North-south slope," "Shadow casting point," <br />"Shadow casting point height," "Solar envelope," "Solar factor," and "South- <br />ern lot line," and adding definitions for "Exempt tree or vegetation," <br />"Front lot line," "Nan-exempt tree or vegetation," "Shade point," "Shadow <br />pattern," "Solar access height limit," "Solar access permit," "Solar balance <br />point," "Solar feature, " and "South or south-facing" i n alphabetical order <br />therein, to provide; <br />9.015 Definitions. As used in this chapter, unless the context requires <br />otherwise, the following words and phrases mean: <br />Exem t tree or ve etation.
