ORDINANCE N0. 19129 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE METROPOLITAN AREA PLANNING <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND JOINT PLANNING COMMISSION <br />COMMITTEE; AND AMENDING SECTION 2.013 OF THE EUGENE <br />CODE, 1971. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The table of Board, Commimssion and Committees set forth in <br />Subsection ~1~ of Section 2.413 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended by delet- <br />ing the Metropolitan Area Planning Advisory Committee therefrom, and adding <br />the Joint Planning Commission Committee in alphabetical order therein, to pro- <br />vide: <br />~.o13 Cit Council -Boards, Commissions and Committees. <br />~1~ The following are the presently constituted boards and <br />commissions and committees of the city with the number of members and names <br />of the appointive authority indicated thereafter, together with the term <br />and the authority for such board, commission or committee: <br />Joint Plannin Commission Committee <br />Nv. of Members: <br />Appointment Process; <br />Term: <br />Authority: <br />2 Planning Commissioners, Eugene <br />2 Planning Commissioners, Springfield <br />2 Planning Commissioners, Lane County <br />By respective Planning Commissions <br />Indefinite <br />Ordinance No. 19129 <br />Section 2. The Joint Planning Commission Committee created herein sha] 1 <br />assume the responsibilities previously assigned to the Metropolitan Area <br />Planning Advisory Committee far conducting a citizen involvement program for <br />the Metropolitan Plan and is designated as the citizen's committee for co- <br />ordinating and soliciting citizen input on the update process for purposes of <br />future updates of the Metropolitan Plan. The Joint Planning Commission Com- <br />mittee shall also be responsible for monitoring the citizen involvement pro- <br />cess regarding amendments to and implementation of the Metropolitan Plan.
