The provisions of this Ordinance establish the procedures <br />to be followed from the effective date hereof, and shall not affect any <br />currently issued license, fee, rule or administrative order, which shall <br />remain in effect until the expiration of the term or amendment, repeal, or <br />repromulgation in accordance with the provisions hereof. Any person po sses- <br />sing a valid certification may undertake the activities regulated by the <br />certification through the expiration of that certification, without first <br />paying new license or certification fees. However, nothing in this section <br />shall exempt any person from compliance with all other requirements of this <br />Ordinance and regulations adopted hereunder, including requirements related to <br />criminal history checks, photo identification and certification cards, and <br />payment of fees for new identification/certification cards. The City Manager <br />is authorized to adapt rules to carry out the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />Section 22. The City Retarder, at the request of or with the concurrence <br />of the City Attorney, is authorized to administratively correct any reference <br />errors contained herein, or in other provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971, to <br />the provisions added, amended or repealed herein, and in particular, refer- <br />ences to Section 3.012. <br />Section 23. That the matters contained herein concern the public wel - <br />fare and safety and in order to provide for the orderly implementation hereof, <br />an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and Sections 1 and 2 of this OrdiY <br />Hance and the provisions adopted therein shall became effective immediately <br />upon the passage of this Ordinance by the City Council and approval by the <br />Mayor, and Sections 3 through 22 hereof and the provisions adopted therein <br />Drdinance - 15 <br />
