Subparagraph ~f} of Section 4.876 of the Eugene Code, 1911, <br />i s hereby amended to provide <br />' ~ ities Requir~ng__Permits. Except for parti- <br />4.876 Pe estr~an Ma - Activ <br />ci pants i n a ci ty sponsored event, no person or business shal l con- <br />duct any of the fallowing activities without first receiving a mall activity <br />permit: <br />~f} Operating or parking a motor vehicle on a street which <br />is closed. <br />Section 6. The Downtown Design Project Summary Report attached as <br />Exh l bi t A pravi des for motor vehicle and bicycle traffic on Wi 11 amette Street, <br />Olive Street and a portion of Broadway Street now closed to vehicular traffic. <br />Notwithstanding the provisions of Sections ~, 4, and 5 of this Ordi Hance, no <br />person not presently authorized to operate or parka vehicle on the Downtown <br />Mall may da sa until the electors of the City authorize the specified streets <br />to be opened and appropriate signs and/or signals are erected therefor. Fail - <br />ure to comply with this provision shall subject the violator to the penalties <br />set forth in Subsections 4.9904}~5} of the Eugene Code, 1971. <br />Section 7. Approval of this Ordinance by the electors of the City shall <br />constitute elector authorization to open the downtown streets to vehicular <br />traffic as specified i n Exhibit A to the full extent that such authorization <br />i s required by this Ordinance and any other provision of 1 aw. <br />Section 8. Ordinance Na. 15907 is hereby repealed. <br />Section 9.
