ORDINANCE N0. 19fi0fi <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING NOISE DISTURBANCE; AMENDING <br />SECTION 4.084 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Subsection ~1} of Section 4.084 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is <br />amended by adding anew Subsection ~k} thereto, to read and provide: <br />4.084 Noise Disturbance - Exem tions, Variances. <br />~1} Exemptions. The following sounds are exempted from the pro- <br />v~s~ons of sections 4.084 and 4.083 of this code: <br />~k} Sounds arising from and consistent with any activity <br />approved by a mall activity permit issued pursuant to sections <br />4.810 to 4.819 of this chapter or approved by city sponsorship. <br />Section 2. The City Recorder, at the request of or with the concurrence <br />of the City Attorney, is authorized to administratively correct any reference <br />errors captained herein ar in other provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971, to <br />provisions added, amended ar repealed herein. <br />Section 3. That the matters contained herein concern the public welfare <br />and safety and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this <br />Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the Council <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />27th day of February, 1989 <br />r <br />City ecorder <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />27th day of February, 1989 <br />6~~ 4 <br />j M or <br />Ordinance <br />
