ORDINANCE N0. ~~1~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE ELECTING TO RECEIVE STATE REVENUE SHARING <br />FUNDS PURSUANT TO SECTION 221.770 OF OREGON REVISED <br />STATUTES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City of Eugene, Oregon, far the fiscal year ending <br />June 30, 1990, elects to receive distribution of funds from State Revenue <br />Sharing pursuant to Oregan Revised Statutes Section 221.770. <br />Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby directed to file a copy of <br />this Ordinance with the Executive Department of the State of Oregon as <br />prescribed by Oregon Revised Statutes Section 221.770. <br />Section 3. Because elective to receive State Revenue Sharing funds for <br />the fiscal year ending June 30, 199o is required by law to be made by the <br />City Council by enactment of an ordinance and filed with the Executive <br />Department of the State of Oregon, it is necessary for the welfare of the <br />City of Eugene that said filing be made without delay, and an emergency <br />is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />fu11 force from and after its passage by the City Council and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />12th day of June, 1989 <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />12th day of June, 1989 <br />-- ,~~ <br />City Recorder <br />Mayor <br />FNKHJ139 <br />
