ORDINANCE NO. 19628 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND <br />COMMITTEES; AND AMENDING SECTIONS 2.0133 2.109, <br />2.110, AND 3.119 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The provisions for the Community Development Committee, <br />and Eugene Celebration Steering Committee set forth in Subsection 2.0131} <br />of the Eugene Code, 1971, are amended to provide: <br />2.013 Cit Council - Boards Commissions and Committees. <br />~1} <br />Common i t Devel o ment Committee <br />No. of Members: 10 <br />Appointment Process: Mayor nominates, Council appoints <br />Term: 3 years <br />Authority: EC 2.109, EC 2.105 <br />Eu ene Celebration Steerin Committee <br />No. of Members: 21 <br />Appointment Process: Mayor appoints <br />Term: 3 years* <br />Authority: EC 2.170 <br />*Of the terms commencing 1-1-89, seven members shall be appointed for <br />a one year term, seven members shall be appointed for a two year term, <br />and seven members shat 1 be appointed for a three year term. <br />Section 2 . Subsection ~ 1 } of Section 2.109 of the Eugene Code, 1971, i s <br />amended to provide: <br />2.109 Community Development Committee--Membershi <br />~ 1 } The committee shall consist of <br />4a} One member of the City Counci 1; <br />{b} One member of the Planning Commission; <br />~c} One member of the Downtown Commission; <br />~d} One citizen residing within a neighborhood eligible for <br />Community Development Block Grant funds; <br />fie} One citizen with a demonstrated knowledge of the needs and <br />programs of 1 ow-income residents ; <br />. ~ f } , One at-large representative with expertise related to <br />house ng ~ ssues; <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
