ORDINANCE N0. 19649 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING GAS FITTERS' LICENSING PROVISIONS; <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 3.005 AND 8,200 OF THE EUGENE CODE; 1911; <br />REPEALING SECTIONS 3.182, 3.183, 3.184, AND 3.185 OF THAT <br />CODE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Sectian 3.OO5 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended by delet- <br />ing therefrom the definitions far Gas Fitter licensing provisions. <br />Section 2. Sections 3.182, 3.183, 3.184, and 3.185 of the Eugene Cade, <br />1971, and the caption immediately preceding Section 3.182, are hereby <br />repealed. <br />Section 3. Sectian 82.108 of the Uniform Fire Code, as set forth in <br />Subsection 43 of Section 8.200 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended to pro- <br />vide: <br />(43) <br />Section 82.108 - Li uefied Petroleum Gas, Licenses. <br />~a} No person shall engage in or work at the business of <br />installing, extending, altering, or repairing any liquefied petro- <br />leum gas appliance or piping, vent, or flue connection pertaining <br />to or in connection with liquefied petroleum gas installations <br />either as employer or individual, unless he has received a gas <br />installation license from the state fire marshal in accordance <br />with ORS 480.410 to 480.460. <br />~b~ No person shall do any liquefied petroleum gas fitting <br />or gas venting work, install, repair or remodel any piping or <br />venting or any installation, repair, service, connection, or dis- <br />connection of any liquefied petroleum gas applicance which is sub- <br />ject to inspection under ORS 480.410 to 480.464 unless he has <br />received a liquefied petroleum gas fitter's license from the state <br />fire marshal in accordance with ORS 480.460. <br />Section 4.
