~6~ Accessory buildin.c~s a_nd structures setbacks Carports storage <br />buildings, porches and accessory bu~~~~d~ n~gs, and structures aver 30 inches i n <br />height shall be located at least 10 feet from the abutting lots' mobile homes, <br />accessary buildings and structures; provided, however, awnings, patio covers, <br />and their supporting structures may be located up to within six feet of the <br />abutting lots' mobile homes, accessory buildings and structures. <br />~9~ Permissible ale. .Prior to location of a mobile home in a mobile <br />home park, the owner or occupant shall establish to the satisfaction of the <br />superintendent of building inspection that the mobile home is in a condition <br />that conforms to one of the fallowing construction standards: <br />~a~ A mobile home constructed on or after September 1, 1969, <br />shall conform to standards in effect in Dregon at the time of con- <br />of construction. <br />~b~ Mobile homes constructed prior to September 1, 1969, <br />shall be in a condition that is not less than the substantial <br />equivalent of construction standards in effect in Oregon on Septem- <br />ber 1, 1969. <br />Section 34. Section 9.980 of the Eugene Cade, 191, is amended to read <br />and provide: <br />9.980 Buildin official. Tt shall be the duty of the designated city <br />official to enforce the provisions of this ordinance pertaining <br />to land use and to the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, <br />repair, moving, removal, conversion, demolition, occupancy, equipment, use, <br />height, area and maintenance of buildings or structures. the enactment of <br />this ordinance shall not invalidate any prior, existing or future prvsecu-~ <br />ti ons for violation of the zoning regulations cammi tted under previous, <br />applicable city ordinance then in effect. <br />Section 35. That the matters contained herein concern the public wel- <br />fare and safety, and in order to insure the orderly administration of the <br />City's land use regulations an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and <br />this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the <br />City Council and approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />10th day of June, 1985 <br />~~~. ~~~- <br />~~ City Recorder <br />ordinance - 19 <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />
